Thanks for reply…so how would I do this using FCP and export? I need to import into FCP…Would I import the MP3 into FCP browser then what? Or is iTunes easier – if so what’s the procedure? I take it I need to make the tracks into 48 aiff not 44?

    Thanks KB

OK the mov was 17.4 mb and the mpeg 4 was 4.4 mb – with no vastly different quality. So I’ll use H264 mpeg4.

Thanks for reply – what I meant was (and I should have stated it) I normally use H264 with mpeg 4, and I wonder what if anything is the diff between doing that and using H264 as an mov file (instead of mpeg 4)…I’m rendering an mov as we speak, making an mov at 320 x240 using H264 to see what it looks like and what file size is, but the rendering takes SO long, I wanted to get some pro feedback on the subject while I’m waiting.

    Thanks

Thanks for the replies – if you go to

    https://www.enhancedwireless.net/index.html

and click on the 1.7mb video clip version – you’ll see a 176 x 144 H264 compression that is VERY good (I think). However, I CANNOT seem to get my other 1:30 video down below 3.3mb (not yet on the web site).

So question is, what do you think most people are prepared to put up with re: download size and therefore time? Should I just leave my other video at 3.3mb and call it a day?
