Thanks for the audio reminder – I did do one conversion at 15 fps and it didn’t get it down below 3.1mb…surely reducing the data rate should get this thing down, but dare I set it below 100?

Thanks for all the helpful thoughts – so what are the steps…FCP 4.5 export my 1:30 timeline as an flv, Use On2 VP6, high quality, resize to 400 x 299, keyframe = automatic. Then what’s the best way to Import to Flash 8 Prof? What’s best way to export then? I just did an H264 mp4 version which looks very good but it’s 4.1 mb. Would love it to be under 3 mbs if a flv/swf.

    Thanks

thanks for the reply – our audience is smallish but flv into a flash swf is what I’m talking about ultimately – either way, looks like H264 is best at the moment.

appreciate the help – looking at my DVD SP 2, there is no preference for burn speed, (maybe it is there on DVD SP 4? Will check when I get home). So the max possible refers to the disc capability or the hardware capability?

Sounds good – so if after I’ve exported from FCP 5/compressor 2 into an mpeg 2 and then author and burn a DVD from DVD SP 4 what settings will that program use, I thought it used the setting from itunes and I’ve never seen a prompt window when I burn in DVD SP? Where do we set the rate when using dvd sp?

    Thanks

OK, once I import the QT mov of my sequence, before I print to tape, do I still need to do an audio mixdown?
