I do tons for Photo Montages n FCP 11 and I need to find a duplicate file finder to find duplicates of photos and videos and even documents scanning complete hard drives.

Going through several documentaries I did and I’m finding several with that ugly RED MISSING image. However, the clip in question shows and plays OK after I reveal it in the FCPX browser. In the Timeline it also shows the image and audio levels and the audio does play OK. What’s the best way to fix?

Mads, I’ve had Digital Juice since the beginning, even when it was called ClubToaster. Though they are limited when it come to Apple Motion projects. I don’t have AE on my Mac Studio. But I do have an old CS5.5 version on a PC. That probably eliminates newer AE projects that require CSS versions.

Anybody using Motion Array plug-in for FCPX? Pros? Cons?

I’m lead to believe this is the case. I’m using a 3rd partly plug-in Luca VisualFX Image Sharpener along with a vignette. Turning them off does help a bit. On the audio I’m using CrumplePop Denoiser and Compressor.

The actually audio recording is 48kHz/16bit

Video format is 4K MOV audio probably 44.1khz. Many came just stated ALC. Same formate I’ve used for the past 6 years. On the system drive I have about 25% free space.

System Preferences > Desktop & Screen Saver > Screen Saver > Hot Corners

My Mac Studioʻs (Monterey) screensaver keeps popping up asking for my password while Iʻm editing in FCPX. If I do leave it idle all I need to do is use he Touch ID. Why would this suddenly change and just start popping my screensaver requesting my password?

All I can find is FaceTime which just gives you a small square video window. In demos I see displays with of 16×9 images with the webcam. And where are the adjustments? If this is what it is, the new Studio Display webcam is a huge joke.

Here is the list of Plug-ins I get when I launch FCPX 10.6 that either need to be updated or deleted (because they are incompatible with FCPX 10.6 of Mac Studio M1 Max). I located the area where the plug-ins are located from your links provided. But I don’t see any of these. And what is Universe? This is getting very confusing.

Having migrated from my iMac 27″ 2013 to a new Mac Studio, many plug-ins are not compatible with the M1 chip and these all show up when I launch FCPX. I have a window on my FCPX interface that lists all the plug-ins and they are still listed under Text, Generators and Effects. How do I remove these so they don’t show up in FCPX?

Mark- I still have several good working VCRs both consumer and pro in boxes from back whe I was doing VHS shooting and delivery.

My source is coming from a VCR. Remember those? I can use S-video, component, composite or HDMI 1.0 out. Would FCPX (Catalina) even recognize any of these as inputs? My iMac has 2 Thunderbold 2 inputs.
