Are you running the latest version updates?
The original cs4 install had some issues in this area and updates fixed it.
Cs4 does have a problem with the match name only feature. Sorry. But the updates address finding relative path media so you don’t have to find everything just a few bits to point at the relative folder.

Does it playback properly in a 23.976 timeline? If so I’d say the material I 24fps embedded in a 29.97 signal and premiere is interpreting it properly.

That sounds normal for DV. 1hr 30 will only dir on a single layer disc with mpeg2 compression which I’d about 40:1. DV is 5:1 less compression = larger file size.

First the export settings should probably be H.264. then set the fields to progressive. Find the tucked away option to render maximum quality. It will take a while to encode but it will be much cleaner.

You may need to import the project into a new one as the project itself may be corrupted.
How long is the project?
Are you running the most upto date version of Premiere Pro 4.2.1 and AME 4.2?
If only 1 of these apps are updated and the other is not then you will have issues exporting.
The versions talk to each other respective of the same dot point number update.

it depends. I’d say that having less than 10% of your hard drive space available is never good for workinget alone rendering.
Do u have another hard drive u could export to then use that single file as your export to tape? Just to get it out.
I’d clean up the nearly full hard drive for starters. Then try to complete the render.
If it’s still not happy see if there is anything common about the clips that won’t render. Are they yellow in the top of the timeline?

This can happen if you have clips or photos that are corrupt or jpega that are too large. What kind of media so u have?

Uncompressed. H.264 is not great for editing no matter what you’re settings.

That’s not an edit suite that’s a vision mixer you’re after. It ain’t cheap. Look up newtek.

Did u change the interpret footage of the clip from the project panel? It may be a pixel aspect ratio interpretation. Once that is corrected the edits should stay in the new aspect ratio interpret.
