[Toine Verhoeff] “I Could run Adobe Premiere perfectly fine with my current setup,”
I’m guessing that’s because Adobe is using CUDA which is an NVIDIA proprietary technology and most laptops have NVIDIA GPU’s so Adobe should run great on most laptops. It’s unfortunate that more laptops don’t support AMD but that’s what Sony runs best with.
[Toine Verhoeff] “My Client literally wants me to use Sony Vegas for the time being (which could be months). I’ll look into the MacBook Pro!”
I didn’t realize that your NLE choice was driven by your client. If you to check out the MacBook Pro’s be sure to go to an Apple Store and see Final Cut Pro X running on it. FCP X screams on the new MacBook Pro’s (as you might expect).
So are you delivering Vegas Pro project files (*.veg) to your clients? I’m just wondering why they care what NLE you use.
