Yes, and unlike regular presets, this will save any keyframes. So you could animate FX parameters over time and saving them as a chain would retain the animation. This is a very powerful feature of Vegas Pro.

If you have other text events that work then just delete this one and start a new one. It could simply be a bug.

It would be hard to get everything to match. Motion Graphics tools like After Effects, Boris RED, and Apple Motion have built-in cameras. This allows you to create any kind of animation you want and then simply move the camera across it to give the illusion that the text is scrolling up when actually the camera is moving down the text. Vegas Pro has no camera so you would physically have to keyframe all of the motion to be in sync. It’s probably possible but would be very tedious. This is a mater of using the right tool for the job and Vegas Pro is not the right tool.

There really is no easy way to do this in Vegas Pro. The best you can do is make multiple text events and coordinate them following each other across the screen via keyframes on two alternating tracks. Maybe there is a plug-in that does this?

I wonder if it’s a graphics driver problem? Try updating your graphics card divers to the latest level. Also make sure that you are using the latest build of Movie Studio 13.

It looks like you can apply for a 6 Month Free Trial but the software is proprietary and someone is making a bundle of money on it. It looks to me like some politician got bought off to generate a lot of money for Cambridge Research Systems who is profiting from this legislature at the expense of small content providers. Shame on the broadcasters for not providing this service to you.

What codec do the video files use? If you don’t know, use MediaInfo to figure it out.
Is it just these videos or do all videos of different codecs also cause Movie Studio to crash?
That error is quite odd because it’s in a UI control and not a module that handles video.
I would download a trial of Movie Studio 13.0 and see if it works. If it does, it may be time to spend US$49.95 and upgrade. Movie Studio 10 was not made for Windows 10. The latest version of Windows supported by Movie Studio 10 is Windows 7. When you upgrade your OS you need to be prepared to upgrade your software to support it. Windows 10 has broken quite a lot of stuff and people have reverted back to Windows 7 after using it for a while and finding out that their old software no longer works.

I use to use AVG at one time but I removed it. It’s just too invasive. Use Windows Defender and Malware-bytes.
