Its always good to use the Broadcast Safe effect on any questionable shots. Real easy to use and real time.

I am sure you have, but make sure to clip the blacks and whites in Screen matte setting.
Also, play with the Screen replace color – start with gray/green and adjust to see if it helps.
Can always try CC your foreground to take out green and masking it.FCP 6.06, OS 10.5.8 2x3GHZ Quad-Core Intel Xeon, Kona LHe, Dulce Duo-eSATA 8 Drive, 4TB Raid.

Not sure what you are referring to. I seem to only get a choice – view as icons or list view.

November 25, 2009 at 4:36 pm in reply to: Hi, Any Instand HD (by Reg Giant) Users Out here?On the Red Giant website, there is a video tutorial on using Instant HD. I just followed the instructions while watching the video. I need to bump up some 720×486 files to 720P. Seemed to work with some trial and error. I did find that it worked only on video files, not an animation I tried. NOt sure why.

November 16, 2009 at 2:57 pm in reply to: Out of Memory while rendering in Apple Pro ResYour still files are too large. Need to resize them smaller – try and calculate the smallest you can get away with, i.e. enough to do moves and such.

So you hookup the Ref-In cable from the Kona card and the deck ref to the AJA tri-sync and that locks it all up.
Dont know why, but I never truly understood the sync business. -
Has anyone had experience on the POST workflow from the Canon?
We did a small job where a photographer shot video with the still camera and we had some issues with the files even after converting them to ProRes. It seem to take forever to render the files and when we did efx they too seemed take forever.
Given, we adopted the project from the photographer, so we did not have control of the workflow from the beginning, so I have no input on that.OS X Quad Core Intel
