Tiger with the latest FCP Studio. I reopened about 10 files yesterday, copy and pasted in a new project, saved over the old one and rendered. All was fine till today and they all went offline again, or should I say “Media Missing In Live Type File”. They look OK in the browser. Should I re-install FCP 5.0?

Make sure under “View/External Video” you have all frames selected. Good Luck, John

Try adding a couple of frames of black after your program, and render. I create Black from the matte generator in FCP. I think that this will solve your problem. Good Luck.

Export the clip to Motion….. You have a Kaleidoscope filter available in there… and the best thing is, it’s free. A lot of editors don’t realize the power and options Motion gives you. Have Fun…John

You need to download a later version from Apple. Search previous post for more details. “Background Process” It will fix your problem.

Make sure that you have the latest drivers downloaded from the AJA site. The last 2 revisions have dealt with this issue as well as audio sync issues during batch capture.
