Audio in FCP (and most pro NLEs) should be 48kHz. This is probably yhe root of your problem. Try using QT Pro, Soundtrack Pro, or MPEG Streamclip, etc. to convert the 44.1 to 48k and retry in DVDSP.

You can speed-up the process by setting the pan of your first clip, copy it (Cmd-C), select the following clips, and then Paste Attributes (Opt-V) select Audio > Pan.

Trash pref and Repair Permissions, but it may have to do with OS incompatibility. Check the plugins’ website for updates. And/or try uninstalling and re-installing.

First off, for compatible viewing you should be using an external monitor driven by some flavor of I/O device: Kona, Blackmagic, Matrox, etc. Otherwise you’ll never know what you’re really seeing. As for the Viewer/QT shift make sure you have “Enable Final Cut Studio color compatibility” checked in the QT Player prefs.

Use Compressor to make the H.264 file and change its extension from .mov to .flv.
