I’m not familiar with the 200. We have an HPX500. On the 500 there’s a monitor/alarm control (on the viewfinder side) that, if set too high, adds a lot of noise in the headphone monitoring output. It’s not recorded. You can adjust that control so the sound person gets a clean monitor output.

If you mean export an image sequence of an edited program (or a single clip) you can Export Using Quicktime Conversion > Image Sequence and use Options to choose the format of the image (eg TIFF). You’ll end up with a bunch of separate images: image_1, image_2 … image_150.

I don’t recall such a setting. Try trashing prefs and repairing permissions.

It’s the same. In FCP you can use this feature to export stems (dialogue, music, fx) instead of an entire mix.

CS3 and CS4 Production Premium have Flash Encoder which is a stand alone encoder that will make fine flvs. If you have that, you’re good to go. While I’m not 100% certain Compressor can’t make flvs, I’ve never found a way and I have Flash, Flash Encode and Sorenson Squeeze installed on my machine.

My recommendation is to transcode to ProRes. You want to use the best color space for your key. Also, both versions of ProRes are 10 bit.

No, not directly. But you can us Compressor to make an H.264 file and change the .mov extension to .flv. We use Sorenson Squeeze to encode flvs, but the above will work,

“To do the export I use quicktime movie, And not using quicktime conversion, Sure?”
    Yes. Use Export Quicktime movie.

“I leave the option make movie self-contained set, Sure?”
    Yes.

“Option and recompress all frames, Should also be marked?”
No. Do NOT recompress. This will lead to loss of quality.

July 7, 2009 at 7:23 pm in reply to: 24p timeline great, output problem….

I’m not familiar with that format. My suggest is to try to export with some different codecs, ProRes for example, and see if it makes a difference. Just try a short segment that includes the problem transition and see what happens.

H.264 is not an edit codec so getting your files into a .mov format that FCP likes is a good idea.
