July 8, 2009 at 3:40 pmNo, not directly. But you can us Compressor to make an H.264 file and change the .mov extension to .flv. We use Sorenson Squeeze to encode flvs, but the above will work,

July 8, 2009 at 9:39 pmI believe you CAN encode flv files using compressor IF you have the CS4 collection that includes a plugin to compress to flash video from quicktime-enabled programs. I’m sure Master Collection fits the bill, and likely Production Premium would also work.
I also believe DVKitchen can do flv files and, like compressor, has the ability to create droplets that let you drag and drop to convert.

July 8, 2009 at 10:03 pmCS3 and CS4 Production Premium have Flash Encoder which is a stand alone encoder that will make fine flvs. If you have that, you’re good to go. While I’m not 100% certain Compressor can’t make flvs, I’ve never found a way and I have Flash, Flash Encode and Sorenson Squeeze installed on my machine.

July 9, 2009 at 2:29 pmThanks John. I did that and sent it to the client. We’ll see if it works. I’ll check into Sorenson
Thanks,
Bart
