What do you mean by converted? What codec are they in now?

You’ll need an extremely powerful computer to pull that off. Most folks agree that AMA with H264 (or AVCHD) is just for browsing, selecting and logging. You’ll need to transcode to DNxHD to properly be able to edit with this footage.

Why not use the BWAV’s when grouping? Or re-group with the BWAVs?
You can’t matchframe back to sequences, sorry. -
AFAIK only the Yamaha 01V and 01V96 are supported. See the Help files for a definitive answer. The 01V can be had for 500 bucks (used), I’d think.

AAF, OMF or AFE probably. Not sure how this works in Interplay environments.

I bet that OMF does not support mixed framerates. AAF should. I was told that on the ProTools side, you need to UNcheck the box (in DigiTranslator) that says “ignore rendered effects”, as the mixed framerates are treated as rendered effects.

What do you mean workflow?
The MXO2 Mini works for monitoring ONLY, in SOME project types (50i/60i-based ones).
It’s not really part of your workflow, it is part of your monitoring setup. -

The simplest way to go about this is select all your master clips and choose Clip->Transcode, then transcode your 1:1 mediafiles to a resolution of your choice.

As long as you are in a 35mm project (or if you have turned on 35mm film options), you can use Perf Slip to adjust sync up to a quarter of a frame.
