Some one I am working with is convinced that at some point he was able to send sequences via email using Avid, probably just by dragging the sequence from a bin to the desktop and sending the resulting file.

Everything I’ve read says that the sequence must be inside a bin in order for you to send it.

Was it ever possible and is it now possible to simply send a sequence without having to send a bin?

    thanks,
    jack

    ps – We’re using Avid MC 3.5.1.

AAF, OMF or AFE probably. Not sure how this works in Interplay environments.

works great, just send the bin file and then copy that bin into an existing Project, open avid and you will see the bin , relinking doesnt have to be a problem if you have the same material on both sides. (excuse my english)

    cheers!
