Not sure exactly what you are asking here but I’ll give it a try.
If you mean you have to mono tracks of the same audio and you need to link them together
Just highlite the two clips and then hit ‘apple-L’ to Link together
or highlite both clips then hit ‘option-L’ to make clips Stereo
That way when you Mix Down keyframes will go to both left and right of Clips

Hey Walter
I have been getting slow startup times on my Projects also (DV),
and I am still running FCP 5.04.
Was wondering if it is being caused by Qt 7.1 or latest Security Release,
It seems to me it started back when I installed this pair.

Automatic Duck makes all sorts of Import and Export plugins to go into FCP From Different Programs and out of FCP into different Programs,
Including AE – Pro Tools – Avid and Others
Which Import — Export plugin do you have for Auto Duck and from which Program are you coming out of.
If Im not mistaken AAF files are for Quantel Systems, Not FCP which would need OMF Files.

Unfortunately if all of the orig. captured clips start with 00:00:00:00
then one of your settings was wrong and you did not capture with Time Code from deck.

Im sorry but Im not at my setup with PVW 2800 Machine right now, so can’t be of much help.
But what Card are you using to capture Beta SP?

if you captured originally using firewire and a non-controllable device
you did not capture with Timecode and that is why all your clips read 00:00:00:00

if you want to Recapture clips you Must first capture with RS 422 Control from deck

I did bring all in at orig Formats, I was hoping I could down rez The Hdv by just making selections & putting in a DV Timeline
But I guess That would be alot of rendering? Media manager sounds like a good Idea but dont think I’ll have enough storage
(not working with a Raid) one 500gb big Disk Extreme
