I’m mixing a show and have several pieces of identical audio on two tracks — all the music beds are on two tracks as is some nat sound. How do I lock the similar tracks together so I can obtain the same mix and get the same keyframes without having to go through the mix twice. I’ve tried everything but can’t seem to figure this out. It has to be simple though.

    Thanks,

    Andy

I’m not clear how you want to use these tracks again. Is it a different section of your show or an ntire re-mix? If it’s just to use them again x minutes later or in a different sequence, why not copy and paste?

Not sure exactly what you are asking here but I’ll give it a try.
If you mean you have to mono tracks of the same audio and you need to link them together
Just highlite the two clips and then hit ‘apple-L’ to Link together
or highlite both clips then hit ‘option-L’ to make clips Stereo
That way when you Mix Down keyframes will go to both left and right of Clips

Hope that Helps, if Im understanding your Question right?

    Thanx,
