u should use the keyboard keys for switching between cameras. normaly its on F9-F12 for 4 if u use more then u should make more shortcuts.
open the command palete (cmd\ctrl +3) and open the keyboard settings assaign that shortcuts from the Mcam tab to your keyboard. then when u play the seq use that shortcuts and enjoy it.

DV Pal is lower field. doesnt metter the version u working on.
and the frame size is 720*576. basicly if u want to get the wide screen u should crop the picture (16.9 mask) in Avid or crop it in AfterFX and export as Pal dimensions. Avid like to play with QT or TIFF\TGA Seq more then Avi with alpha.

you can stay where u r and just transcode it on the spot to your project rating

  • we in israel do it in a cut2cut method. usualy going straight to the Replays. if u made a Highlight list by time u can then do it in minutes.

if i got u right u didnt transcode them. so first transcode it then make the consolidate action.
u can try enlarge the tracks and add the resolution display the move one by one to see wether its different res. and if u got one clip in a different res then u should try to transecode it to your project rate.

    Hi.
if this is a HD problem then u should try copying your Media Files to anothe Partition then hide the ones u have problems with and check it out.
