Disconnect it every time? We don’t, and haven’t had problems.

When your Avid isn’t running I can only assume it’s in standby mode–like when you don’t turn your DVD player off but there’s no disk in it. It just sits there with some lights blinking and raising your electric bill by a few pennies.

Regarding the EMP plugin–we installed our Avid software first, then the EMP and all of them work fine.

Nope. You can, but I’ve found it can screw up AE’s ability to use your Mojo for output if you’re switching between the applications. I assume they’re fighting over the Mojo, and Avid usually wins.

Keep your Mojo plugged in, but shut down the Avid software. Don’t forget you have to setup AE to output through the Mojo as well.

    Good luck!

    Michael.
