The only problem with Fire Wire out is the out of sinc.
im editing on a second pci card wich delivers the video out to the cliant. works good anough. -
u can work with superimpose and some keyframes

simple as that- adding another 3d effect.
and i was waiting for two weeks to come up with that -
First of all u can create thos in the Title Tool. u just need to type it backworth. or use a SuperPad for copy past.
now if u still using a photoshop u should save it as a TIF or a TGA format with a 32 bit. this is saving an external alpha channel. and when u import it to the avid u should set the import settings in the image tab / alpha part to invert existing.

in the render settings change the “Time Span” to Length of comp.

as far as i know everything is tuned for audio.
im using a QT movie and when i open the file from the project window it does plays with sound.
when i druging it to the timeline it doesnt play sound, and i cant see the waveform at all.
again.. the audio button in the time control is checked but there is a small sighn showing “this wont play sound”

i tryed doing it but it still want play.
the Audio icon in the TIME CONTROLS is on but there is a small sign on it says maybe “the audio in this project or so will not work”
or somthing like this. he’s look like an unparking place.
