Multicam- playhead stop upon switch to different camera
I am fairly new to Avid Xpress Pro, (FCP editor prior, and currently) but I figured using the multicam function maybe beyond “basic”.
Anyways, I followed the tutorial on avid.com but when ever I click to switch to a new camera the play head stops! (it does the switch, but I have hit play again so it’s annoying) Is there anyway around this? Or is Avid just this difficult to work with? FCP lets you keep on playing while doing numerous switches. -

u should use the keyboard keys for switching between cameras. normaly its on F9-F12 for 4 if u use more then u should make more shortcuts.
open the command palete (cmd\ctrl +3) and open the keyboard settings assaign that shortcuts from the Mcam tab to your keyboard. then when u play the seq use that shortcuts and enjoy it.~Jhones~
