sort of the same topic but different….if I set a mark-in on my timeline and I want to set a duration of say 30 seconds…how would I do that. in FCP7 it’s easy. I haven’t found a way to do it in Premiere.
maybe you are using very large pics or graphics. are you using footage that is h264.? in sequence settings/video processing make sure that you have “always render in rgb” ticked.
our keys looked like this when we were using 4-2-0 cameras and recording on xd-cam. if you blow up the raw footage to 400% and examine the transition between his coat and the background you’ll probably see a mess of pixels…nothing nice and smooth.
if you drop your 23.976 clip into a 29.97 timeline then Premiere will add the “3/2 pulldown” automatically. you will know this by looking at your timeline on a broadcast monitor and you will see 3 solid frames and 2 “jitter” frames.
