  • Premiere CC 2014 incompatible with CC?

Posted by Sara Stifler on December 12, 2014 at 11:31 pm

I began a project in Premiere Pro CC 2014 and I can’t open it in a standard Premiere Pro CC.

Is there an update or solution to this issue?

    Hi Sara,

That’s not unusual. Unfortunately, premiere is almost never backwards compatible.

you can try making an XML of your cc2014 project and opening it up in cc.

If you have the original CC, you can download CC 2014. I don’t believe it replaces your old version.

That’s correct. You can have multiple major releases like CC and CC 2014 installed side-by-side.
