Wobbly edges from keylight
Hi,
I was wondering if there is a way to remove wobbly edges from the image below.
I tried to key this image with keylight but the edges on the shoulders and hair cannot be smoothed in any way. They become very clear when I watch the footage in 100% size in aftereffects.[Original]

Have you tried adding a refine matte effect with chatter enabled and altered the smoothing ? I have had good results stabilising mattes using this. Also It may be that your keying is on the edge. I would suggest using the status of key light and alter screen gain / balance to suit to ensure you have a solid key.

our keys looked like this when we were using 4-2-0 cameras and recording on xd-cam. if you blow up the raw footage to 400% and examine the transition between his coat and the background you’ll probably see a mess of pixels…nothing nice and smooth.
