There’s been a new driver posted on Software Update for the X Serve Raid recently… have you run this?

Actually, you can get a component to SDI converter from AJA and do this that way (analog outs from HDV camera/deck to this converter)… I’ve seen the results of this and it’s very clean…

There’s fairly robust mask shape tools in Motion 2… Might consider working there instead of FCP…

Might try cleaning the betacam machine to see if it fixes the phantom TC… The other behavior is normal I think if the batch thinks there’s a TC break. If it doesn’t find a TC break instead of Continue, it says OK as I recall.

Also Checkout Boris’ Coninuum… one of the 150 plugins that all work with FCP is called “Optical Flow”. It’s as good a slo mo as I’ve ever seen…

Probably some column header in 5 caused the error… didn’t think of this… XML data will work though…

You should be able to open the nests and then reconnect the sequences which open.. just select all in the timeline window and control click to reconnect the clips in the sequences, and will then reconnect the nests.

I’m getting perfect DV25 to 8 bit running an erase and install of 10.4.2, QT 7.1, FCP 5.02 Suite, and Kona 1.1.2 drivers. 2 gig machine (rev a).
What software are you running and on which machine?

You can just drag the original sequence from the Browser to the new sequence…
