With offset rotation it will be difficult to match them.

Take a look at our Sphere Utilities. It would help you out in cases like this. It will, among other things, make it possible to correctly position the logo on the football texture.

  • We have a set of tools which addresses exactly this type of job.

    Cheers,
Having worked with lots of these kind of jobs, I know what a pain it can be. Some of the functionality in these plugs can really save hours of work.
Happy that our tools did the job!

I think you should take a look at CFX Sphere Utilities.
They are all specifically made to work on spherical maps.

Cheers, posting before having my first cup of tea in the morning could have that effect.

The project would not be identical. New and modified controls in CC are not compatible with the older FE. The best solution would be to dig up your old FE plugins.

If you’re feeling adventurous you could try one thing. This is nothing we recommend and we do not guarantee that it will work in any way, it may very well crash AE and possibly cause data loss. Still interested?
Ok, make three backups of your project in three separate locations one of which should be on a CD or DVD. 😉
Make a copy of the project and name it “daring_test.aep”.
Open it in a text editor (TextEdit or TextPad?).
Use Find & Replace, search for “FE Particle” and replace with “CC Particle” – go.
    Save
Open the project and pray to favored Deity.
If you only get warning messages about control conversions, then part of the project may still be useful.
In my experience the project usually won’t open because of errors.

Without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied. The entire risk arising maintains with you.

    Canoa?
The bundled CC effects are Cycore FX.

Anyone who didn’t get Cycore FX bundled can purchase Cycore Effects HD, the extended 16/32 bit version of Cycore FX.

Can’t reproduce it here with 9.0.2, works as expected for me. Perhaps you’ll have to report it to Adobe.

Vector Paint draw strokes from the first frame forward. When using All Strokes, VP will composite each painted frame over the previous. I.e., erasing will not affect anything drawn in following frames, only current and previous.

Applying CC Composite without a prior effect applied has no effect. If you for example apply a 50 pixels Fast Blur (or a 4-color gradient) before CC Composite, do you see the Opacity control having any effect?
