    Ok, we are awake in Sweden now so let’s take a look.
    First off, it appears you are running an older version of CC Particle World which I don’t have on my machine but no worries. (With the newer version you would have used the Resistance control)

    Good thing you included a snapshot of your settings.
    You are using the Viscouse animation mode in which case the Extra control defines the resistance.
    However, you have set this control to a negative value. This translates into negative resistance, meaning that the particles will accelerate and speed up. So what you are seeing is understandable.

    Setting the Extra control to a positive value would slow down the particles gradually instead and that I assume would solve the problem.

    Were you using a drawing tablet?

    Wacom has a long lasting problem with their driver when it is set to scale to fit the screen.

    You can always use CC Blobbylize instead.
    That way you can use any particle system or animations system to design the animation and Blobbylize to get the globs.

    No I meant that changing the playback speed could cause problems with continuous recordings.
    I can’t reproduce and I can’t figure out what might cause this.
    If you want, you can send me a project with continuous recorded strokes which shows this problem and I’ll have a look.

    Did you change the playback speed from the default value?
    That could cause a pause between each stroke.

    Use the VP Comp window flyout menu or Context click in the comp window and set “Shift-Paint Records” to “Continuous”. (and hold down the shift key while painting)

    Playback Mode -> Animate Strokes

    Adobe has some developers listed,
    https://partners.adobe.com/public/partnerfinder/dev/show_find_by_service.do
    Not a really great resource since few bother to register, but perhaps you’ll find what you need.
