Regarding the Master track, couldn’t I use that to fade out all levels (tracks) of 5.1 surround sound?

There is some issue with Architect, Vista and dvd drives.
I finally gave up and moved Architect to an pc running XP. Yes its a pain transferring multiple Gb but what can you do.

I really don’t know about switching to 30p.

But I recently kept interlaced all the way through the burn, downloaded a trial version of Cyberlink powerdvd and it looked beautiful!

I capture with AVCHD, decompress it with UpShift program and use the templates I describe.

Depending on your resolution, you will choose the Blu-Ray or HDV template for rendering. On the last tab of the template, make sure video quality is set to Best.

Ofcourse, you need to render audio separately using the Dolby Digital AC3 template.

I decided to transfer the footage to the PC with Architect and it looks like the jagged lines are not present.

John, you are right. Windows Media Player was the culprit. Thanks!

Solved the spacing problem but…

No “Make Blu-Ray” option to be found.

The Blu-Ray drive is working properly because I loaded the .m2t file with it. There are no firmware updates available.

The video originated from Sony AVCHD Camcorder.

Then I used the UpShift program to decompress the video. It splits out the audio into a .wav file.

Project audio properties set to 48K
