Does Vegas 8.1 have a audio setting to modify audio from an interview in a room with bad echo?

If the audio has already been recorded then the room noise has also been recorded. A way to minimize that effect is to add a dynamic range expander plugin to make the voice louder and the room noise quieter, then add some background music to coverup the room noise. I always try and get the mic as close to the source as possible to eliminate room noise, as well as sound proofing foam, blankets, closets with lots of clothes in it, what ever you have. Hope this helps. Danny Hays
