You can use the RPF file format to render, and then use that info to create a camera in AE. BUT, you will find that it is very, very limited.
There is more to it than ‘matching the camera’. You need to be able to sync AE elements (layers) within your 3D space so everything seems like it’s in one environment.
The “only” way to be able to handle all this properly is with the plugin MAX2AE (boomerlabs.com). This allows for seamlessly transferring all your camera, object and light data from MAX into AE, AND allowing you to transfer from AE into MAX as well.
So you can go back and forth, tweaking camera and objects/layers in either application!
It is a night and day difference from any other workflow available.
