Actually, my gain is set at -3.dB. Here’s a pic. The noise shows up mostly in the chart and in the grey. When the footage is running it looks like crawling ants. It also shows up in the green of my chroma key shots quite a bit.
Thanks for taking a look.

Ya know, I think you can save out a swatches palette in Illustrator that can be imported into Indesign. Haven’t tried yet, but you may want to give that a shot.

Hello,
Actually InDesign and Illustrator play really well together. If you create a swatch in illustrator and apply it to a vector object, like a box or circle, you can copy and paste that object from Illustrator into InDesign (and vice versa). It will even bring over the swatch name if you’ve given it one. Works going from InDesign to Photoshop as well, but not Photoshop into InDesign.

Hi Dwayne,
That fixed several of the problems. It seems to be flagging a gradient that was created in Illustrator as low res. Any tips for fixing that?
Thanks for the help. It’s greatly appreciated.

Hi Dwayne,
That’s it! For some reason every time I create a new text box and start typing, it applies a character style, which just so happens to be called “Italic.” I’ve check the Para style and it’s not based on any other style. Is there a way to keep the “Italic” style from being applied to every text box I create?
Thanks for the help.

Hello,
What it does is change the font to an Italic in the fonts properties, even though it’s not Italic in the para style. I’ve tried this on new text, I’ve duped the para style, I’ve copied the text and the style into a new document: all the same result.
The weird thing is, I can apply the style, go to the fonts properties and change it from Italic to Regular (what it’s supposed to be), but I don’t get the little plus next to the Para style in the Para Style Panel.
Is this a corrupted style? And if it is, do you know any way to keep it from becoming corrupted?
Thanks for the help.

Hey Terry,
Thanks for this. I’ve been working with the cross-reference feature and I’m having some difficulties. What I have is a Figure Number followed by a caption. What I need is the cross reference only to display the figure number in my paragraph text and exclude the caption. It seems all I can use with the cross reference is a para style to select the figure number and that’s giving most of the caption as well.
Do you have any suggestions for achieving what I need?
Thanks again,

Hi Daniel,
Thanks for the response. Can you offer suggestions for finding a broadcaster? Do you have any recommendations for the United States? And, any suggestions for learning more about the networks?
Thanks again

Thanks Charlie.
Would you recommend Motion over After Effects? I’m I dealing with the same type of render issues with Motion? I don’t know the program very well, but I’m giving myself a crash course now.
Thanks for the help
