Hi all. Joe Rugby over at the Iphone forum thought this would be a good place to get my questions answered.

I was approached by a client about doing mobile content and many questions came up. In particular, how do you get the content to the viewer’s phone?

Could someone out there explain to me how the whole process works?

    Thanks in advance.

Much depends on the network you want to deliver over.

GSM, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSDPA etc etc.

Ultimately you need the services of a broadcaster, who that is will depend on where you are in the world, and what kind of broadcaster will depend on what type of content you want to deliver.

    Hi Daniel,

Thanks for the response. Can you offer suggestions for finding a broadcaster? Do you have any recommendations for the United States? And, any suggestions for learning more about the networks?

    Thanks again

I don’t have any experience or contacts States-side for this. Try googling “mobile content distribution” or similar.
