Try this iMixMXF, you can adjust your parameters to meet your customers’ needs. And if you want to do some edits, then I suggest you convert your fiels into Apple Prores, if you want to stream them to your customers, then Mpeg-2 would be better.
BD and DVD has different file structure, you can use some converters to convert your files into VOB, and in most converters , there are adjust settings for users to up or down their parameters
The FCP 10.1.4 is compatible with MXF and XAVC natively. YOu can update your FCP and have a try. Or if it doesn’t work, try to find a xavc converter then transcode them before you load into your fcp
Although Sony Vegas claimed that that the Por 13 can support XAVC, but still got the same error, can import them properly. Then I choose to convet them in normal foramt, then reload them into Vegas
It’s ture that Sony Vegas will crash a lot .But the mov should be natively supported just like the avi, wired…maybe is about the inner codec of the mov. Since mov is a kinda of “Container” folder.
