Export a frame in 4.1 still isn’t as simple as the File… Export… Frame… found in 3.0.

Maybe you should make sure your PPRo job is a 24 fps job and not a 30 fps.

Perhaps the issue is with version 2.0? I remember reading somewhere that starting with 3.0, Premiere was better able to handle HDV.
I use 3.0 and have no issues capturing HDV from my Canon XH-A1.

In PPRo CS3, there’s a “deinterlace” checkbox in the export dialogue box (it’s burried behind a tab). If it’s still there in CS4, I’d say make sure it’s checked.

I had a similar problem; the titler froze when I opened it. After trying several things, the only way I could get it to work was to create another Windows login account and use that one.

That’s most likely After Effects, using nested 3D compositions timed to the song.
Not easy (nor is it easy to explain how to do).

Thanks, I’ve seen that page (even tho it first comes up blank https://rynocable.com/temp09/blank.jpg ), and tried the techniques found elsewhere in that wiki. And I’ve scoured thru this thread, too: https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/3/881347
No luck.
I’m sure my fonts are fine (I checked them one-by-one in Photoshop). I’ve installed nothing new recently. It just stopped working. One minute it was fine, the next, crash every time.
In a last ditch effort, I made a new Windows login/account, and luckily, it worked in that new login! So, that’s my “fix” for this problem. Something in that other account must have gotten corrupted. What? I don’t know. I can’t waste more time trying to investigate this further.
Now I have to slowly migrate all my settings to the new account. A pain, but I guess it’s better than reinstalling everything from scratch.

Promising link, however, the page it links to is blank.

The ctrl+alt+shift method seems to have worked for me.
I just successfully rendered a short Keylight-affected clip that surely would have crashed before.
I wonder what got screwed-up.
Thanks for the tip!
