    Hi
I’ve shot footage using a Nikon d90 and want to edit in adobe premiere the files on the memory card are DSC premire wont support this file so have downloaded MPEG streamclip that will convert it to avi quicktime etc. Have tried to import as avi but it wont show images in playback just audio. Does anyone know what import/project settings i need?

Really? I’ve had no issues with my D90 clips. But I do process them first in AE. I’ll try to directly import a D90 AVI onto a PPro CS3 timeline.

    Thanks James,

Ive managed to convert them to quicktime and import them into premiere ( but they where jerky )what would be useful is to know what properties I need for the AVI’s and what project settings I need in Premiere?

Are you sure the “jerkiness” you refer to isn’t because the D90 shoots at 24fps?

Maybe you should make sure your PPRo job is a 24 fps job and not a 30 fps.
