May 29, 2009 at 5:23 pmExport a frame in 4.1 still isn’t as simple as the File… Export… Frame… found in 3.0.

May 29, 2009 at 5:42 pmFrankly I wish they brought back export movie too. I miss exporting QTs with preserved metadata (like timecode).

May 29, 2009 at 5:43 pmI think the only main difference in 4.1 is the Black Magic Decklink full Support

May 29, 2009 at 5:48 pmAnyone know if the TITLER was fixed in 4.0 or 4.1? 2.0’s titler was very stable, then in comes 3.0… The “creeping” panels really drive me nuts, so does it’s overall sluggishness.

May 29, 2009 at 6:07 pmI have been playing with it for a few minutes and I have to say its more stable espcially with my intensity pro card. It doesnt seem to need to transcode my native hdv files now either.

May 29, 2009 at 6:23 pmI used to have “creeping” panels in CS3, only to find out it was a conflict with the Microsoft Intellimouse driver (mouse driver). Uninstalling the Microsoft driver fixed the problem (Windows will just switch to the default mouse driver).

May 30, 2009 at 2:52 amBut the CS3 titler panels “creep” on my OSX install, too (even worse, I think). So there must be something more to this problem than some random Microsoft mouse driver.

May 30, 2009 at 7:14 amThe titler in CS3 had some issues – issues that have been resolved in CS4…no title window creeping. I will say that I’ve seen the titler re-adjust slightly in CS4, but nothing like CS3.

May 30, 2009 at 8:47 pmThat’s good news, and puts me one step closer to upgrading (but that’s not enough for me to shell out the $$ just yet…)
