If i was in your position…i would suck it up and rotoscope:(
Then when finished go and slap the DP for allowing the reflector to be caught on film 🙂

i personally have never used this piece of software but it might help you. “https://www.gridironsoftware.com/NucleoPro/”. Also as far as i know from my experience, within the render queue each comp renders in order of precedence and not all together.

from watching the promo it looks like most of if not all the talent were filmed in front of green screen. To achieve that blocky look, one way would be to create a fractal noise layer, with the fractal type set to max and noise type set to block. set the scale to your desired size. colorize it accordingly.
now with the fractal layer selected, track “alpha” matte the keyed footage layer.you could also duplicate the keyed footage and blend it on top of the already TrkMat’d layer to give more detail and depth. this is a pretty basic way of achieving this effect in under 5 mins. you could play around with trapcode form and see what you can achieve.

    hope this helps.

Make sure that your relevant hebrew font is installed correctly. restart after effects and now you should be able to apply text effects as though you would any other font. Now just keyframe your effects parameters for the X-axis to reflect your desired result in relation to animating from right to left.
I hope that answered your question, ortherwise im not too sure what it is you are asking.

April 11, 2009 at 4:54 am in reply to: compositing 3d text into footage

hi, this effect is achieved as Dave mentioned before by using a 3d app then compositing the rendered text sequence in AE. the industry term associated with this technique is called Matchmoving or 3D tracking. Now one of the most popular 3d tracking programs is boujou or my preferred app “syntheyes”. however these programs do cost a pretty penny (up to $15,000) but there is a freeware app called VooDoo that might be of some benefit to you. Im sure there are tutorials out there on it, just google for them. but the best way is to just snoop around within the program yourself. Also in relation to Fringe, the opening titles where the particles collect themselves to form the text, im pretty sure Boris Continuum Complete 6 was used in AE to create that otherwise it was also done within a 3D App.

Hope this helps your in you learning.

There is no reason why you shouldnt. The latest service pack of any operating system should offer improvements to its predecessor (like the utilistaion and distribution of memory for example). You will not lose any information or files when installing this update. If anything it might just speed up your machine.

Try to repair the system with your installation disk and if that doesnt work you will probably have to do a complete restoration.
