September 3, 2008 at 11:38 pm in reply to: Is necessary to render the TL b4 exporting movie?Hum! Interesting! Anyway I did render the red timeline and guest what! Is not readable by Encore either media player or Windvd. It say “unsupported media format” but it is avi file.
Is the first time I have this problem and the only thing I did different is that I captured the miniDV tape in another PC using PP2. Then I swap the hard disc (USB) to my editing PC.
I checked the captured footage and noticed it said 720×486 insted of 480….
any idea? -
Yeap… pretty HOT. Thats the way of my set up. I had tried every possibility. What I want now is to return to my previous state.

Nothing new Tim, just upgraded the nvidia 7300gs drivers.
Before this I was able to watch the TV display. (full screen video of the time line footage.)
I reversed the driver upgrade but still have the same issue.
I didn’t change any cable or hardware and only seing the same screen of the PC monitor into the TV… not a the full scrren video as before. -

Use the computer only for editing to keep out the worms lol (no internet) -
Same happening to me. Installed CC3 and doing my first wedding edition and its crashing a lot.
I don’t lost anything because I save the job before hitting any key or the screen logo that show up when crash.Jan, go to file>save beside the small screen that show up. It works!
Despite this is disturbing to get so many crashes. With CC2 was very rare the crashes…using the same computer to both. When finish this edit will return to CC2!!!!

I noticed the absent M, but went to keyboard cust. and put everything back to what I use to work.
Will like to have or discover a way to copy-paste keyboard customization from CC2 to CC3… didn’t find a way! -
CS4? Just installed CC3 and experimenting with it.
Was working with P Pro and I thought I didn’t need anything else (LOL)Having fun with time remapping and few others goodies.
What I’m needing is more Xsition effects but this can come from third party co.
Practically I do what I want with PP2… -
My Editing Pc has not any antivirus or anything. Not connected to internet either. It’s a HP dual core Athlon 4200 processor, 1.5 ram and 250g HD and a nvidia GS 7100 video card and also show same behavior as you describe.
It show an annoying jittering when watching the timeline playback through the video card TV out. If I stop the PB and start again it stop this for a minute or so but start again.
This is just playing a miniDV SD capture. Can’t imagine in HD!Was thinking to upgrade to a quad-core processors but maybe this is not the cure to the problem.
Any clue? -
Well, I did everything again from the beginning. Went to PP and re-render the timeline again and then within Encore I did a new menu, music, chapters, etc. and burned the disc.
Finally the problem is gone. The DVD is complete.Never will know what the problem was but the next time will start over again to avoiding losing 2 days trying to resolve it.
thanks for the help
