  • “M” control in PPCS3?

Posted by George Evatt on March 17, 2008 at 11:54 pm

    Hi,

I am finally using PPCS3 and notice that its lost the “M” command to move all contents of a specific (all entire) video or audio track right of the curser up or down the timeline?

This was one of my most used tools and it now seems to be gone!

Am I going mad, is there something like it on PP CS3 or not, I can’t find it in the shortcut menus.

    Any info much appreciated.

    Thanks

    George

I believe you are looking for the “A” shortcut.

Yeah that’s right. I was thinking of FCP. I’ve been cutting on it for the last week.

    Thanks Chaps,

    M is now A

You know “A” is not listed in the timeline shortcut keys help menu or at least I could not see it there?

    Regards

You’ll have to change the very top pull down menu from application to tools. Somehow I keep missing it too.

Adobe really makes me mad with these unnecessary keyboard changes. The tab key, which I used to toggle between source and program monitor in PPRo 2, does NOTHING and the toggle function has been entirely removed. Why? I guess we’ll never know.

I noticed the absent M, but went to keyboard cust. and put everything back to what I use to work.
Will like to have or discover a way to copy-paste keyboard customization from CC2 to CC3… didn’t find a way!
