In my very short experience with Premiere found this:
I saved the timeline or project as usual. Then I downloaded into Ulead Workshop ($500) to make chapters and burn a DVD. The results was very very bad; similar to what you’re describing. Specially at the outside of the disc found stuttering, jumping and when the camera moved produced pixelixation.
I tried Encore; a little bit better… but still not satisfactory.
It could be my PC DVD burner and going to replaced it soon.

Anyway… I then ran the entire sequence (timeline) directly into my Panasonic E-20 standalone. Using the DVD input of the camera, SVHS output to the DVD recorder.. THE RESULTS WERE ATONISHMENT…BEAUTIFUL… Watched the video; no stuttering and the quality was super!
The bad thing is that I haven’t chapters and everything else Workshop does.
Read that PAnasonic is making a model DMR 4670 (not sure the model) that is more flexible to make chapters…

Thinkk this is the answer to keep quality on top
Hope this help.. If you make the try let me know

Wow! never thoughtwas so easy thanks
and to take the opportunity you are online… sir

one last question: why in the timeline, the dissolve xsitions is there but it won’t do nothing…(is anything correct) but in others works ok.

    What it could be?

    Steve, many thanks!
Yeah,I’m very crudito “rare/ rusty” in Premiere despite my 20 years in the video area professionally. I bought Total Training tutorials but hasn’t time to watch the videos. Only one so far… and understanding the English & at the same time the comprehensive tutorial is not a piece of cake. (I speak Spanish)
Worst is to find where is the answer to a specific doubt in all 7 or 9 discs (still un-openned)
I don’t know the rest but my concern is why those tutorials hasn’t language selection….million of people speak spanish and thousands are editors.

Been working with Premiere less than 2 months.. this is my second wedding (with Premiere) when at the same time capturing/editing with ScreenPlay nle.
This is a piece of cake and do Almost the same as Premiere. This almost is why I’m entering in one editing PC integration…more flexibility

Now, will ckeck how I can overimpose a title in Premiere…(letters in top of the video) I loaded into the second video track but can’t find how?? >> opacity<

Well if it is the same video card then you have to look at the rear of the PC. Near the RGB monitor cable it have an SVHS & composite connector. You can connect direct from here to a TV.
After I wrote this post I did another look at Premiere and I found the way. In the right sequence screen small monitor there is a small arrow. In the bottom it say video playback settings. Open this and at the bottom select “Use direct 3D” Voila!

Remember to select dualview in the deskstop/right click/properties/settings/advance/GeForceFX5200 tap/nView display.Look for the different settings in this place.
    Hope it help you
