I’ve noticed this on SD to SD convert when trying to output a letterbox SD version from an anamorphic SD timeline. Have questioned tech support on it but have not had a definitive answer.

Have you tried plugging the mouse directly into the USB port on the computer… not into the keyboard?

If you follow the install instructions at the Boris website you should have no problem. I’ve been running BCC 4 and RED 4.1 with FCP 5.1.2 – 5.1.3 – and now 5.1.4 with no problems. The BCC4 Transitions are however still broken.

Running with it right now… if you follow the install instructions at the Boris website you should have no problem. I’ve been running BCC 4 and RED 4.1 with FCP 5.1.2 – 5.1.3 – and now 5.1.4 with no problems. The BCC4 Transitions are however still broken.

If you haven’t got the problem fixed yet, you might want to try reversing the cable connection ends between the card and the K3 Box. Had the same problem with a K2 Box and reversing the connections fixed it… don’t even know if it’s even possible to switch the ends on the K3 as I don’t have one.

Nice… but do you have a similar procedure for RED 3.05 to RED 4.1?
The accompanying installation manual for RED 4.0 doesn’t work!
Haven’t tried the BCC procedure yet… having mucho trouble with the RED upgrade!
