You should be able to get Composite output by hooking up the Y/G output from the Kona 2 card to the Composite input on your DVD recorder. Of course you’ll have to open the Kona Control Panel and set Analog output to Composite/SVideo.

Another thing… how are you monitoring the RCA analog channels? Make sure you’re connected to an appropriate input on your mixer, deck, or whatever and that the audio signal path is routed to the speakers/headphones.
Put Bars and Tone on a timeline and play it.

Not in front of my system (Kona 2) right now… the only other thing I can think of off hand is to reverse the cables end for end from the Kona card to the K-Box. I seem to remember this was a fix for this problem with the Kona 2 and K-Box. Obviously, you’ll have to power down your system and as well as anything plugged into it.

This has been covered here before… I believe it’s the old realtime fx and FW hard drive conflict that has been known for three or four years now. Do a search in this forum for ‘realtime fx’ and you’ll find lots of related posts – most recently answered by Floh in this post.
