Is there a site that we can download raw D65 to test?

[Margus Voll] “But in the other hand if BM would buy avid it would only be good”

Maybe for DaVinci it was good since hey were already bankrupt, but I think Avid has momentum now since the demise of FCP. In any case, I think if Blackmagic would buy Avid it’ll be catastrophic, we don’t need another “Lite” mayhem, and what’s the point now, Avid just open up to third party hardware, under Blackmagic we all know it’s going to only work Blackmagic’s and not Kona or Matrox or Bluefish.

How about instead of a Pro User forum, there’s a new DaVinci Lite forum where everything lite can be addressed there?

ps: for what is worth i still vote for an “expensive” (certainly more than 1K) PRO version of resolve , that have more support etc…

Totally agree with you on the price point, but I would love even more for that DaVinci Lite nonsense to end. It doesn’t work well, it’s super buggy, it’s taking resources away from DaVinci, and it’s tarnishing its reputation.
And in case you haven’t noticed, the quality of questions in this forum lowered a lot too.

Can’t wait for Lustre to get ported to Mac to run with Smoke, but who knows what’s going to happen to the Mac Pro first

yeah, well…in a perfect world Grant Petty will fulfill his promise of Resolve being able to run on a Kona, will it ever happen, I so doubt it!

You’re talking about refresh rate I believe, it plays really good for me, as a matter fact, Scratch has the same option right? You can go second monitor as video DVI out if you don’t have a SDI out, see how that works for you, should be similar.

Unless you need to go to tape from Smoke, you really don’t need the Kona, since you can use DVI out to see the video on a second monitor, same as a SDI out. I have it connected to my Broadcast monitor DVI in.

Now what we need is to Avid to buy Scratch, and Autodesk to include Lustre in Smoke for Mac
