Scroll grades
Hi,
I used to work on a DaVinci 2K. There was a very useful feature called ‘scroll’ where you could scroll the grades from other clips in the timeline on the current clip. Anybody knows if this feature made to Resolve? BTW, I don’t have the DaVinci panel. I am using a wacom tablet for the moment.

With the DaVinci panels, you can navigate up and down the timeline for this via direct access buttons, although at least on the 2K panels, the trackball control of this has been removed.

Yes, I remember that, it was a beautiful fast preview, but a non-DaVinci panel interface seems to require actually copying the grade (with a middle-click) into the target clip.

It was a great feature and it is puzzling as to why it was removed. On the same note, Lustre does this very well with CP-100 panel:-)

There are a number of workflow features which make sense when you have a dedicated panel that’s ‘design for optimal operation’ as the BMD panels are for Resolve so the scroll feature is available on the BMD panels.

i do like and use scroll (i Have the Davinci Panel )
but i would ask peter to add the possibility of copy Red SDK data using scroll ass well (i mean copy or not copy RED SDK , selectable in the config page )

Can’t wait for Lustre to get ported to Mac to run with Smoke, but who knows what’s going to happen to the Mac Pro first
