December 24, 2011 at 7:34 pmI wonder if Speedgrade will have tracker options as good as Resolve, because that’s one of Resolve’s best features.

December 26, 2011 at 4:07 pmI got the email flyer from Tangent the other day and at $3500 for the set it seems like quite a bargain. As for speedgrade I don’t see anything there that I would trade Resolve for.

December 27, 2011 at 5:07 amNow what we need is to Avid to buy Scratch, and Autodesk to include Lustre in Smoke for Mac

December 28, 2011 at 12:16 amDo you mean incorporate Moca into Speedgrade, the way Moca is incorporated in AE?:-) It’ll be peachy, as in evry time you need track shape, you need to use an external app-Moca, export tracking info and finally import that info into the Speedgrade?

December 28, 2011 at 12:31 amThere is a reason why Speedgrade couldn’t continue as a stand alone company. I’m no a big fan of the interface in it’s present form, it’s grading capabilities are pretty pedestrian and so far, we haven’t heard a word about possible multi GPU support, and panel support.
Adobe would have to introduce more compelling features, than just renaming the Speedgrade application and including it in the Adobe suite to get Resolve users to switch… -

December 28, 2011 at 2:25 pmtotally agree ,
Speedgrade have zoo many missing features and little details …
i could not believe that the price of the product was 20K (only Raw) or 50K (all formats),
at the time i bought scratch i compared the 2 systems and honestly speed grade was incredibly inferiors and more amateur …Adoube should add a lot of Adobe sauce to it , as well as sell it for few hundred dollars …otherwise …really both worth …
