If you take advantage of the proxy workflow you can play back all media at full res without any rendering and without so much as a hiccup in play back and the only rendering will occur on export.

More RAM and graphics card power is more important than overclocking. You need 16gig ram minimum and ideally 64gig. And a graphics card with a minimum of 4gig and ideally 8gig.

If your media is less than a terabyte, wetransfer works extremely well. I’ve worked on a number of projects where the media was sent to me from the field and it’s always worked without issue.

Yes, two timelines and dragging clips from one to the other. By stringing out all b-roll into a timeline you can then just add markers to the shots you like. I find this to be more efficient than making subclips.

One very efficient way to color correct is to adjust your lumetri color settings for the first clip of the first camera angle, then save that color setting as an effect preset. To apply this preset to the rest of your clips from that camera go to the bin and highlight all of the rest of the clips and then drag the preset effect that you’ve just created onto those clips. The color effect will then be applied to all. Repeat these steps for each additional camera angle.

If you’re up for changing up your approach, you might want to look into using the pancake method of editing instead of sub-clipping.
The pancake method is a very efficient way of having easy access to the best material from your raw footage but it doesn’t require you to actually take the time to create any subclips.
