8484, what? Is that 8.484 mb/sec? Could you have set this to 8484 mb/sec? Don’t know if you can set it to this, but worth checking.

Oh, you don\\\’t need to select the Track, you just need to click on the \\\”control\\\” you want to view or adjust – here it is Track Motion. I like this approach, it gets me directly to what I want to do, I don\\\’t need to do 2 clicks. And this also holds for the other Controls within another Track Header.
However what you are suggesting might interest Sony? Why not send them an email detailing what you wish to happen?

Eh? Is it possible you aren’t looking at the Track
Motion for THE track you are checking? Is that it? That’s what Edward is suggesting.Grazie

So what you are saying is that you can\’t set aTrack\’s Track Motion independantly of each other? Yes? Very odd. I have to say I can\’t repro your findings. I can set TM independently of other tracks and at present I\’m at a loss to suggest how you could have stumbled on, what WOULD be a much sought after feature! Bizzare.

Can you post a screen grab of your Vegas workspace especially the Timeline Track Headers?

I just re-read your recipe of recording. This is out of my comfort zone. I’ll leave this for others to untangle.

Try reimporting? And yes I understand out plays correctly in other players.
Have you matched the project settings to the media? And here the audio? Take a look at the audio tab. How are your rulers set? In respect to mp4 editing I have converted to AVI for editing with no such issues.
Interesting.

“I get distracted by looking at all the stuff I don’t need”
You’re a creative person. You’re allowed to consider all options. It what makes us all what we are. You go ahead and be distracted – like a beachcomber, wandering the silk strand watching out for interesting items. PI provides me with much needed inspiration, and not necessarily for the project I’m on.
Keep experimenting and keep being distracted.

Here is my approach to generating a long mpeg for DVD.
1] Check all your settings correspond to your media.Â
2] Check quantise is on and your timeline ruler reflects your mediaÂ
3] Render whole project to the media you are using.Â
4] Open a new Vegas project and import the big render from  3] and render the mpeg from this.Â
This is how I go about delivering mpeg. Having a completed project file also allows me to interrogate it if there is an issue.Â
This is not good. Tracking down a bug under what sounds like your simplest of projects could be a real pain.Â
