And will the text move and the mask stay put if I change the text path?

Thanks so much – got it working on the linear wipe option. I still don’t get why the masks I assign to a text layer are tied to the text so I can’t move the mask without the text going with it? Why can’t the mask stay in one position and the text move from behind it into view? Can I unconnect them in any way?

So how do I stop the mask being connected to the text – can’t seem to seperate the two. Sorry for the basic Qs!

Sorry – basic details missing!

OK so I shot it with a 5D Mark 3 – I was changing ISO as was inside and out. The aperture was changing too. I had an ND Filter on as it was a bright day.

The footage looks bad at source before I take it into editing programme

Thanks for the response – much appreciated

I am shooting most the other clips at 1080 so will have a 1080 sequence for sure. How much quality will be lost in the upscaling of the slow motion footage – is it highly noticeable?

Thanks for the help – when I import a Premiere project into a new premiere project and then drag the sequence into the timeline it opens it up as that sequence with all the clips in it rather than just a clip I can can and place??
