    Hi

I am making a music video with Green Screen – I have done all the shots but am unsure of my workflow now. Being that I need to sync up the sound etc can I edit the film in Premiere – cutting up clips and syncing audio track. And once that is done can I then take each clip into After Effects and do the green screen editing? And lastly do I drop the desired background in on After Effects or can I do that in Premiere?

Thanks in advance – any help would be greatly appreciated!

Save yourself some effort, and first try keying in PPro with it’s Ultra Key effect. We find that we only have to use Keylight in AE when we have specific problem footage. This way, if the clips are similar to each other, all you need to do is save the Ultra Key parameters as a preset and drag that preset onto similar clips, and they’re keyed!

yes, the ultra key is a great keyer working fine on most gren screen footage. And the big advantage is that the ultra key inside ppro is gpu accelerated. That means no rendering with an actual graphics card. If you key the footage in ae you will have to render.
