Are you seeing activity on your Mixer display? If not, do you have the Master bus muted?

The ‘regular’ DVD template also renders Mpeg audio. The Video stream does not.

You don’t want your camcorder set to camera mode. Set it to VCR.

BTW, you can’t print to tape using an Mpeg codec.

You shouldn’t expect to see those files again unless you go for a high-cost solution of sending it off to a company that specializes in data recovery.

Try putting the drive in the freezer for a few hours. Then, if it does spin up, start copying files like crazy.

Are you saying you can capture PAL, but not NTSC? If not, we need more explanation.

What are you capturing, and what are you using to capture?

Yes, Ignore Event Grouping.
It’s got a bitton on the toolbar, or hit Ctrl/Shift/U

BTW, if you are doing multi-camera editing, you definitly should check out Excalibur.
