I have a very convoluted way of deleting unwanted scenes and I was hoping there is a better way to do this in vegas 6.

I have 3 or 4 camera angles on different tracks, with a master on the top. When I run into a scene that I want to cut I split (s) at the first and last frame that I want to delete. Then I create a region on the top. Then I clip on the left split and drag the left side of the region to lock on this point. I then repeat for the right side. Then I select the region (shift Q) and delete and move everything over.

Is there a better way to delete between two frames that you have picked out?

    > Make a time selection of the area you want to delete

    >Ctrl/A to select all

    >Delete

    >Ctrl/F to ripple the gap closed

    >Ctrl/Shift?a to deselect everything

BTW, if you are doing multi-camera editing, you definitly should check out Excalibur.
