Before you save, set your preview resolution to Best>Full. Also temprarily set your project properties to non-interlaced (progressive).

“Broadcast” is a slippery term. Best to find out what the particular broadcaster’s requirements are.

In any case, Vegas will have no problem with the resolution reqirements.

It’s probably fine, just not previewing at full rame rate.
Do a selective or RAM render, then play it back.

How did you reset to default?

Assuming that you didn’t hold the shift key when applying the FX, that should have reset the window positions.

Try hitting Alt/D/1 to get back to the default window poositions.

You could also try temporarily resetting your screen resoultion higher to see more of the desktop where your window may be hiding.

You’re getting hung up on the numbers. You’re an engineer, right?
If they overlap and you don’t want them to, move them.
You will find it handy to move the track motion box in small increments using the arrow keys.

Look on the lower left of the Pan/Crop dialog. Under the Position track is the Mask track. Click the check box to get started. More info is in the help file.

You can make the arrow as a character from one of the winding fonts, or create it in a paint program. Same with the circle and the letter O.

Then, set the placement and rotation with keyframes.
